Howdy... Figured I would check with the experts here... what does everyone use on there driggers poles for line? Primarily for King fishing...
Inherited 4 rods with newly spooled 20# Silver Thread on them, decent rods, with decent level winders... I used it for a year and now Im thinking about respooling... just looking for suggestions...
It did work well and never had any issues with it..

Why the mono over Coplymers or Flurocarbons? why? I'm CHEAP and I catch all the fish I need on big game so why switch.

20 lb ande, clear or pink if I can find it. 15 lb fluoro for light line pole

i run 1 with 15lb ande just for spoons ... 20 for flasher fly or plug or meat rig

If I am running my shallow stuff, it has fluorocarbon on it but once you get deep or are running a fast troll, I don't think it matters much. Ditto on the 20lb big game.
