I made it out for a morning trip on Saturday and afternoon trips on both Saturday and Sunday. We went 5 for 9 Sat. AM, 6 for 8 PM, and 8 for 8 Sunday. Saturday our best depth was 65'-70' and Sunday night it was 85'-90'. Almost all of the salmon came on a white glow coyote with a green fly on a dipsy at 125' out and a white glow enticer with aqua fly on a pound ball back 60'. We also landed a few rainbows on a Silver Streak blue dolphin on 3 colors of lead out on a board and a silver/blue diamond king spoon on 4 colors of lead on a board. We fished north of the nets out in the area of the wreck most of the time. Saturday was a little bumpy but last night it was almost flat calm and the light rain sent most of the boats in early, which made it a whole lot less crowded. We only had to worry about one idiot each night who figured he didn't need to have his lights on. What's with people like that?

I forgot to add that I saw quite a few alewife and even a few smelt in the stomachs of the fish I cleaned. I didn't mark a lot of bait but it's obviously there judging by the stomach contents.

I've had bad expeiences with my truck getting vandalized in Algoma. ;D
Seriously, we were camping at Point Beach with a big group and I couldn't bear to be that close to the lake without fishing so I went home and got the boat.
