Gotta take some time off and head up north tonight to shoot Yogi bear. The season opens tomorrow, anybody want to help drag? ;D Hopefully I'll be back chasing salmon by the weekend.

Yogi didn't show up for the party, neither did Boo Boo for that matter. I guess fishing is just going to have to wait for another weekend while I try again. Rod - that picture is kind of how I felt Thursday night. I had one bed down near me, had to walk right past him after dark on the way out. I checked the camera and he was on the bait 15 minutes after I climbed out of my tree.

Yee Haa!! I got it done last night! I finally got the wind I was looking for after 12 long waits up in a tree. The bear that was bedding down near me until I leave finally didn't scent me and came in about 10 minutes before shooting time ended. It dressed out at 222 pounds. It was short and I almost misjudged and let it go, like the smaller one that came in 15 minutes earlier. Now I just need the wind to go down so I can get back at the salmon.
