Got the word thurs that things slowed down wed.. sure nuf we only got 10 fish on our 4 outings.... we're spoiled after the last month.... But we had a great time....calm weather...relaxed fishing...no screaming tripples or quadrupals.... just nice fishing...best rig was 8 oz lead at a lot of different depths... not much on 10 colors or downriggers.... I'm going into my smoking mode JP

Similar results for me and my son on Thurs. night and Fri. morning. Total 10-18. Most of the action was on the 3, 5 & 8 color boards and shallow, under 100 fow. Two rigger hits and a black and purple ladderback Pro King on a dipsey was hit 4-5 times, most of the time the dipsey was set on 3 and under 75 feet back. We caught 2 bows and looked on helplessly as others put on impressive aerial displays and came unbuttoned, very frustrating. We went out to 250 fow and lost a couple bows out there but did not mark much. I had riggers as deep as 125 feet down but nothing. Nothing on flasher flies but I did see a limit catch on Friday morning that were caught on all f/f caught between 80 and 115 fow. My wife and I might head over tonight to fish the morning and then go shopping in Appleton... Somebody please put me out of my misery, I had to negotiate unfavorable terms to get her as my fishing partner since she said that I cannot go fishing alone.
Good Luck Everyone.

You don't get to be an "Old Codger" by negotiating "unfavorable" terms to her!

Good point Circleman, but sometimes negative attention is better than none at all. Which of us doesn't enjoy a good beating handed out by the woman you love from time to time?

Its the beatings you get that makes those beatings you get out of, so memorable.
