Does anyone know where I can get some bloaters. We're leaving for Canada Friday morning and one of the guys wants them but can't find them locally. We're leaving the Appleton/Green Bay area and traveling to Thunder Bay via Duluth.

Smoked or for bait? If going thru Duluth during business hours you might call Marine General and ask them if they know of anyone who carries them. Any issues with transport across the boarder? It might be easier to find smelt.
Good luck,

He needs them for bait. You can't take smelt across the border anymore, thus the need for bloaters. I'll check with Marine General. Thanks, I never even thought of them.

Maybe try the superior board on GLA? What time are you crossing? I'll call the border patrol and tell them to leave you the hell alone!!!!!! No thanks necessary.

I think it would be in my best interest not to answer that question. ;D I will be looking for you when I'm driving on Hwy 29 though, haven't seen you in a year or two.
