Went out at 4:30 am and ran a 12 line spread and went 8-11 catching 1 Laker, 2 Bows, 3 Kings and 2 Coho. I worked 100 – 130 FOW.
2-2 Back Rigger SWR down 70 Mag Savant Blue Trout. One was 17.5 # on the Port Scale 0-1 Mono back Rigger Down 65 on a 8: White blade crushed glow tape and steel stamped tape and Aqua fly. 1-2 00 Orange Dodger with Champagne fly on a 5 color. 2-2 Orange Baby Spiny and peanut fly on a 3 color. 2-2 DW SS Orange spoon on a 5 color 0-1 Mag Warrior Blue Dragon Slayer on a 10 color 1-1 reg Pro King Green and sliver on a 3 color.

That was a great job out there today Bill. It seems that you didn't have nearly the misses that many of the boats were reporting. Share your secret buddy, or was it that most of the other boats had bad "jerkers and reelers" like me? ;D

Dave: Not sure why some days the hook up ratios are high or low. Quality sharp hooks help, loaded rods on riggers, low or no stretch lines and get to the rod quickly to pick up the slack line.

Well, that must be it Bill, Reid had all of those areas you mentioned covered, except for getting to the rod quick. I'm not too swift of foot anymore! ;D
