Hey ya'll. GangGreen is hookin me up with a older Cannon SpeedNTemp on the cheap. I've seen guys who say they can run their Depth Raider down 80-90' or so with out coated cable. Can you do this with the Cannon Probe as well? Has anyone tried? I really don't like running riggers any deeper than 110' or so I don't care about losing signal in super deep depths. If it drains the battery in a hurry, so be it. If I must have the coated cable, where can I get it, or does anyone have some laying around?
Thanks, Garrett

I don't think you will get an accurate reading 80-90 down. You can order cable right from Moor Electronics or Fish 307 or check your local sporting goods store. They just call it coated downrigger cable.

That's right ----- the coated cable is really needed to obtain signal on the Cannon SNT model.......
Garrett --- probably gonna have to bite the bullet on this one and pick up some coated cable for the next trip following tomorrow morning....
