That is a pretty open ended question. More specifics about the issue would help.
Many times, you lose signal when fishing deep due to frays in the coated cable. An old battery can cause that too. Over time, the antenna cable can go bad as well. My unit is like 13 years old, and I have replaced all the cables once including the power cable to the unit.

Your input cable is not making full contact in the back of the display unit. You loose speed but keep temp. Try pushing in on the cable. I speak from past issues due to improper routing of cable by operator.

Make sure the battery is fresh and that the wheel on the probe spins freely as that is where the speed comes from. Also make sure the antenna connection is tight going to the rigger and the back of the unit.
I have found Moor's customer service to be outstanding. You will speak to an English speaking person who knows what they are talking about. When I called them once, I told them how pleased I was with my 10 year old unit (at the time) and they sent me all new cables free of charge.

That sounds unexpected. I would think they'd have you try other stuff first before having to ship in the unit. I would not be too happy either. I guess I am one of the lucky ones. After thinking about it further, my unit is 15 years old this year. I replaced the probe once because I broke it my letting it bash the back of the boat in big waves. I have never once needed service on the probe(s) or display unit. Funny thing is, when my ST does crap out, I will buy a Depth Raider or something newer just to have newer technology. Good luck!
