For those of you that are wondering. The launch in Kewaunee is very close to being ice free. The ramps each have a snow drift on them. The ice near the ramp looks to be very thin and may not always be there. Also the seasonal launch permits are available at the BP station.

How much is a annual launch pass if you dont mind me asking. I think it would be to my advantage to purchase one. Thank you in advance.

Just over 900cfs and rising. Very muddy. Launch is open.
I don't get why they need to charge 60.00 for a season pass? With gas at 4.00 a gallon they are going to have plenty of parking places available. You can have mine..... Brown county is 30.00

Shawano is 25 ... they should somehow make a state pass for all launches would be nice, but the landings are owned by different entities, some private, state, county, township, etc, they all want their peice of the pie for maintianence, it ain't cheap to put in a landing pad with a parking area, add a dock and multible lanes...out the roof in cost In trying to figure out how much in launch fees i spent last year, i determined I should pick one GL landing and stick with it, Gomer was the only launch that I would have come out ahead, I may try a Door County landing just outside Sturgeon Bay- Lily Bay, I think on weekends i could avoid a mess of boats and find some quiter waters, the landing is for small boats only, but no cleaning facilty, so i could head over to the park in SB to clean fish?? otherwise I paid to launch from the Wolf River in Shiocton/New London, then the Brown county launches at Bay Shore, Suamico River and Municipal. Also a private launch at Geanos, Up to Pensaukee, over to Chaudoirs to give Door Co a little love as well.

If I ran my own rig more often I'd do it. When I was slipped I fished at least once a week (usually more) from June to September. And with our fish cleaning facility it's worth it to me to pay the $7. They built that marina completely around fishermen.
