I was surprised to see no fog at the lake this morning. Joey and I headed out around 5:30 and motored way north (my new favorite spot) to 120fow. Setup on a SE troll and got 6 lines in (3 riggers, 1 dipsey, and 2 boards). Got to 175fow with Nada (here we go again...) and decided to get shallower where the warmer water was. Ended up finding some here and there and pulled the plug at 9am with 1 10# King and 7 Hos. 3-3 Wonderbread Coyote, green/white BW fly down 75-84' 1-1 Savant mag purple glow spoon SWR down 55' 2-2 regular size orange spoon off 4 colors 1-1 00 orange blade, green peanut off 3/8 keel weight board (pulled for a 7 color which was not hit) 1-1 Flamethrower Inticer, like colored BW fly with some green in it too 81 LOC diver. 0-0 various blades/flies and spoons off deep rigger (110-120' down) I had 2 dead camera batteries so no pics. Breakfast at Harry's after cleaning fish (I need guests to take fish) was good as always. The streak of skunks ended at 1 - Thank Goodness. Nice chatting briefly with Good Times who had Scrapper, Krash, and NTT 2.0 with him.

You had a great crew with you today Mojo! I hope Joey cranked 'em all in! And nobody other than you would have thought the streak could possibly be any longer than one!

Joe......
With the pressure off after the first fish came into the boat.......(lol).....
Back to the business as usual, which is doing that thing that you do ---- bringing in nice catches ------ just another day at the office for you sir!
No real rhyme or reason to the bite yet, but I may have been a week early in the predictions for the surface bite.....fish are still scattered in mini pockets it seems....
Perfect catch ratio!!!! Congrats to you and Joey for a nice catch!

Komo, don't feel bad. I've been fishing with them and listening to them talk for two years, and barely know what they're saying half the time. Must be their accent? ;D

Mojo & Joey: Great job of fishing and catching. Mojo: Big Fish Barry and I were considering switching boats for the Vet's outing if you didn't get your stuff together. I guess that is a mute point now. All you really needed to do was to get your True First Mate (Joey) out there to show you the ropes. Relay

Great job Mojo! I was a bit upset I couldn't get out Saturday due to the pea soup fog and even more upset I was driving to Iowa when the fog cleared on Sunday AM Nice job putting Joey on some fish and I know the breakfast was second to none. It's a safe bet you had the eggs benedict

Great job! Nothing better than a day on the water with your son!
I got faked out by the NOAA dense fog advisory & postponed our plan to head south for Coho. Sounds like we should have made the trip down. Glad to hear it was clear for you & you could fish without the fog.
