Heading out today was probably not the brightest idea I have ever had but I went out none the less. I dont have the faintest clue as to where I fished and I suffered for that...
While I was setting the gear in 65 FOW, the rigger popped 52 down on a moonshine dancing anchovy, boated a nice coho, caught a laker on a rigger 55 FOW, 40 down on a bloody nose, a monkey puke spoon on a green dipsy took a smacking but whatever was on got off, then missed two more on leadcore.
While fishing, I struck bottom with my Moonshine Dancing Anchovy sppon which was my best spoon in the aresnal. The spoon bent pretty bad a good chunk of paint chipped off. I then made an offering to the sea.... The lure was set on fire and sent down one last time to rest peacefully on the bottom of the lake. I would say 30% of the fish I caught came on that lure and although tomorrow I will be another that lure will never be replaced. I marked the spot I dropped it on my gps and I will never forget you dancing anchovy and I will visit you soon.

LBL, it was a crazy fog today, patchy in places, but thick from Milwaukee to Port, and for sure it was a dangerous day. I hope nobody experienced any difficulty, other than losing a favorite lure or two. But it's clear on the lakefront now, so maybe the evening trips, and tomorrow, will be more productive, and much, much safer!

It was definetely dangerous yesterday, If I could see 100 feet in any direction that would be the max. Luckily only one boat ever got really close to me. Missing fishing and not knowing where I was made things a little miserable but being out there is still better than being at work.

Thats good work for you and the crew Komo. What a difference a day makes! There was a pretty good chop out there at Milwaukee this morning, but clear as a bell, and the boats I saw come to the cleaning station appeared to have done well. One had several nice kings, even more coho in what I figured was the 4-6 pound range, and three lakers. I think we're about to see this weather finally change for the better as well!
