Some older boats look old but that boat has timeless classic lines. Are they still in business? That is a sharp looking ride!

Thanks...... got her out today for the maiden voyage and skakedown run. Figured it was a perfect day with the wind blowing 40 (no chit) out of the south. Found a spot to launch on the south end of the lake so that went well. Idled out looking over the main engine for leaks and such so off I went. Popped right out of the water and ran 36 MPH wot with a nice cruising speed of 31. Ran about 20 miles back and forth on the lake a few times. Stopped to check out the t-8 tr1 combo out. NICE!!!!!!!!. THAT TR1 IS UNBELIEVABLE. Trolled around on the wind blown side of the lake for a while. It didn't matter what direction you went the AP held it as long as you had enough throttle in it. Couldn't figure out how the steer to GPS waypoints yet but that will come I guess. Grew tired of that so I ran around some more in different directions with the wind. Couldn't get the trim tabs working so I ran with a pretty healthy list all day but that should be an easy fix...... as I was trolling around some more later I looked back and noticed one of my mag 20's was mia.. I kinda sat there confused for a while and remembered playing with it before I left town. Don't rightly remember if it was there when I launched or not so there went 11-$1200 right there as it took the Bert's swivel base and dual big Jon rod holders with it..... oh well I guess it could have been the probe rigger. Reminder.....put in the track endcaps next time. Lesson lernt. All in all everything worked good and I am very pleased with the boat. I would like to thank the moron at the dock that couldn't find a second in his busy day to grab a dock line and help me out as it took me three shots to get to the dock in the wind. The third time I made it on to the dock but the wind took the boat and there was no stopping it so I had to choose between letting it go or making an olymipic long jump to get back in. Either way the boat was leaving with or without me..... loading was a piece of cake compared to actually getting on the dock.

Maybe have at least 1 dockline in hand when jumping onto the dock next time, Buddy.

A mag 20??? Not cool!!! You should have had champ there to net it?! The boat looks awesome out of the shed (I have seen this beast in person and I am truly green with envy). Let me know if you head over before July and I may follow you over!!

Mike..... even if mark was there to net I would still be down one rigger. Trying for the weekend after memorial day if I can find a crew.

I agree....Mark would most likely snag the end of it and make you think he was going to get it back and then at the last minute it would swim away....and fishoil would put a Gobi in his pocket....

His (lack of) netting skills even rubbed off on Kayla last year. Maybe she should put a goby in his pocket or something.

Floorboy,
Your boat looks awesome! Your hardwork getting it rigged & ready to go has really paid off.
Congratulations.

Excellent job on the set up of a beautiful boat. Name it the R&R II. It is only fitting.
