I'm heading over to Algoma this weekend for a few days to finish the season off for me. Would anyone be willing to give me an insight as to how the fishing has been the last few days? Thanks in advance.

spoonin around just put a report up from tues night, and I just put one up from last night out of kewaunee...that should get you started...but the few fish that were caught were out 150fow++ or right at 100-115 fow at the sunset bite. But fishing has been slow...i hope that it speeds up for you this weekend. I should be out on the water all weekend...you can hail me on 68 69 or 11 if you are south a bit of algoma. Good luck! hope you bring the catch up with you when you get here

Could be sporty out there. Small craft warning posted until Sunday AM with strong SW winds. Might be OK in close with some cooler water in close. Wind should push the warm stuff to the MI side and cause an upwelling of mid-lake bottom water to the WI shore.

4-6 near shore, 4-7 offshore it may be a bit sporty LOL. The forecast has been wrong before but I don't see the small boats getting out on the lake side this weekend. The bay may be fish able.

checked the lake about 1 hour or so ago, it is pretty rough right now with lots of white caps...
phishy was out this AM i spoke to him and it was a 20 min trip. out to 50 FOW and the 3-4 rollers from the east with white caps proved to much for his boat.
lets pray for a calm west wind!

set out at 4am ...calm on shore, no wind at the landing...headiong out the harbor i felt that slight bob....hit the mouth....bobbin...slowly went out to 50 fow . took inventory, turned around and called it off...it was capping pretty good, rollers from the SE and stif southwest wind pushing across the top of the rollers making it bumpy....
back at the landing...again very littl wind,
i went perch fishing....l managed a meal in 2 footers off choudoirs,
lots of road fuel today......
