One he11 of a fish Steve at 29.66. To be 2nd in the KD out of 2500 fishermen is a great accomplishment. You should be proud of last week.
As for our group no winners w/ 19lbs being the biggest king. Highlights of the nine days included night fishing for first time, shooting the crap with Gilligan, fishing with hiisle, meeting Scrapper, trying to dock with one motor after steering cable broke (I almost single handedly wrecked the entire Kinn charter fleet), & finally having a charter captain jump from dock onto boat to putboat in slip in the wind. Things in Algoma ain't gonna be near as exciting now that I've left the marina. As one of my partners on the boat said" Walker your the worst fricken boat driver in Algoma & probably on all of Lake Michigan"
Fishing was OK in my mind. Mostly a flasher fly bite on our boat as couldn't get the spoons working all week, Fished 65-80 ft to start the week & finished in 120-140. Only fished mornings & had couple of windy mornings that didn't leave the dock. Averaged 5-7 fish per trip which was good in my mind just no fish over 20.
Congrats to all the winners in the KD tourney & if I screwed ya up with my boat drivin-I apologize. I need lessons on driving that big arse boat, Champ-you lookin for a second job?

Also nice pair that the No fish Nick crew brought in at 23+ and 25+ on the same trip, Congrats. Also a big congrats to everybody that fished the tourney and fished it hard. Rick it was great meeting and talking to you, sorry the info on the night bite didn't work out. I had some of the best laughs while listening to the banter on the radio during the full moon. Thanks to all I met, fished, and partied with. Big time thanks to Steve (Anchorman for lining us up with a place to sleep) always a class act. I just wished more of us fished out of the same port. p.s. I will be buying a new radio, or taking the marbles out of my mouth when I talk. Cheers, and here's to next year.

Awesome tournament!!! NFN and the Geriatric's team (Dad Leroy & Uncle Sam) had a great time. Was a pleasure to be in communications with such a talented fishing group Terry's Toy, SteveO, Bill, Scrapper, Gilligan, Anchor Man, Cory, and many others. Congrats to Twin Pups Terry and SteveO for catching the real hogs of this tournament

Floorboy, it was great fishing along side you, but weren't you one of many tearing me up on the radio. (LMAO) Still great hearing your voice again. That full moon stuff was great that night.
And yes Cody, you are officially Cory. LOL just kidding, great fishing with you also.
Next year I will not have the same people as this year. Way to many people waiting to see what the weather is going to be like, and pardon my French, but that is just plain (BULL$HIT). Sorry, I just had to get it off my chest.
